There's nothing I like more than shooting New York City streets. There's something about the corners. Yeah landscapes are great but my favorite work is always of random people I find on the sidewalk.

When you say Street Photography people assume you really need to get into people's faces but thats not what I do at all. I admire people who have the guts to do that but its not my style. I like to shoot from farther away so that the subject is just a small part of the frame.

New York City is so incredibly busy all the time its a challenge to isolate a subject. Especially when shooting a 35, but thats what I aim for.

It takes hundreds of tries to get the right person standing in front of the right place at the right time, but it does happen, just pray that you have your camera on you.

For me good pictures seem to come in bunches too, I'll develop 50 shots and get nothing I like, and then get 5 great shots from a single roll. All of these shots are from 2 rolls of Portra 400.

Anyway, thats enough of my rambling,

Hope you guys enjoyed this week's posts, I've been experimenting with different films so expect that in the near future

I really want to go see Isle of Dogs this weekend, do you have any plans?

Talk to you next week!
